Most BFH knives are hand ground from ATS-34 stain resistant steel
but can be made from other steels by request.  They are heat-treated
"in-house" to about 60RC.

Brian uses a wide variety of designs and handle materials.  Most
designs are original but many are influenced by other great makers,
none of whom invented the knife.  Exotic woods, ivory, stag, bone,
micarta, and anything else that makes a quality handle are available.
